Measurement of GNSS receiver parameters
Beneš, Jiří ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Jílek, Tomáš (advisor)
Goal of this thesis is to propose and realize a viable method to determine static a dynamic parameters of GNSS receivers. Thesis begins with research of GNSS, foremostly determining position and associated uncertainties of measurement. Following chapter contains research of GNSS receivers, data flow and methods of evaluating parameters of such measurements. Summary of obtained information is then used to schedule measurements, assemble experiment and create evaluating metrics. Main selected evaluating metric is weighted histogram of deviations with extended information. Aplication of proposed metrics onto measurements of GNSS receivers augments available information of GNSS receiver accuracy for whole range of values. This metrics also supplies additional statistical information about course of measurement.
Effects of the Teaching Czech as a Second Language
Neubergová, Daniela ; Šebesta, Karel (advisor) ; Saicová Římalová, Lucie (referee)
Name of the thesis is "Effects of the Teaching Czech as a Second Language" and in its first part presents theoretical introduction to the field of study, empirical researches of student's productive skills (Czech as a foreign language) follow (speaking, writing). Bigger attention is paid to selected analyzes, those are basic instruments for making of practical part of the thesis. It is especially error analysis (EA) and analysis of fluency and accuracy. Because the thesis's topic is concerned to effects of teaching and affecting factors, there are defined terms of pedagogy and psychology in theoretical part. In practical part there is presented empirical execution of mentioned analyzes, its comparison, evaluation and making conclusions in relation to appointed variables, or rather determinants, which enter the education process. Beside these instruments the research uses questionnaires and evaluation sheets for (self)reflection of student and lecturer. The aim of the thesis firstly is mapping of student's interlanguage progress thanks to case study, and...
Language correctness and incorrectness as an argument used in online discussions
Trojanová, Monika ; Švelch, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kraus, Jiří (referee)
The diploma thesis titled "Language Correctness and Incorrectness as an Argument Used in Online Discussions" deals with a language criticism which is used as an argument in online discussions. Firstly, the thesis frames language and speech, argumentation, rhetoric, and communication. Then it introduces online discussions and describes how they work, and how they contribute to communication. It is also focused on the users as creators of content in online discussions. The thesis analyzes the corpus of online discussions in which the argumentation based on language correctness and incorrectness is contained. According to communication situations, the thesis classifies by what language criticism is started, what arguments are used by the critics, how the critized react, and how the others perceive language criticism. The research also examines the consequence of language criticism in online discussions. The goal of the thesis is to determinate whether and how language incorrectness may affect information value of particular post, and how the arguments based on language correctness and incorrectness are used.
